Hello Lovelies
I’ve been thinking of the support I receive from nature, just from being alive.
We are born into such a beautiful, colourful and diverse community of beings, that bring such beauty, support, care, nourishment and medicine into our lives.
Even if we have forgotten how held we are in gentle and strong arms rich in couloir and life, still it’s there, holding us.
Even when we treat this community with hands blind by ignorance, even if we forget, even when we lose our way, still we are held and cared for.
The basis for life is symbiosis and coevolution.
Existence is not merely a collection of individual beings fighting for survival, but networks and friendships forming a whole that everyone can survive, thrive and flourish in.
Each and every being plays a vital role in supporting the whole, and by supporting the whole, they support each and every individual.
Yet, when I hear people speak of community, it’s often very human centred, without thought of the community we are a part of.
We are in vital need of remembering this beautiful community of furred, feathered, rooted, scaled, tiny, soft, minuscule and huge beings of which we are a part. They are not a view or a place to walk to. They are our bodies, our health and our survival. They are our family.
Not only are we made from what we see when we look out into the wild world, but we are deeply affected physically, mentally and spiritually by its health for its health is our health.
And I feel such a sense of joy, when I see the types of creatures that are increasing and arriving more and more as I let the space around me rewild and restore.
Knowing that in their presence, I am blessed.
Things that have happened and are happening…..

I love the idea of community as including all our furry and feathered friends, we are all indeed part of the whole and interconnected. I love the images in this post too, they are stunning Brigit.
