Welcome to this moons full moon journaling.

Last night, the very nearly full Moon hung low in the soft sky, a luminous disc casting silver light across the landscape. Its glow seemed to pulse with ancient wisdom, and I cant wait to see her in her glory this evening.

The Herb Moon, or Wyrt Moon as the ancients called this July fullness, cast long shadows across lands where chamomile and lavender, roses and mugwort nodded in the evening breeze. It was traditionally a time when healing plants reach their potency, when people would gather medicinal herbs under moonlight, knowing how the lunar energy enhanced their healing properties.

Swan Bones

This full moon offers a unique opportunity to reflect on how our lives are like gardens-some areas flourishing with vibrant growth, others lying fallow, waiting for seeds of intention to take root.

What if we approached our own lives with the same careful attention a gardener gives their plot? Consider the soil of your existence, is it rich with nourishment or depleted from overuse? What weeds might need pulling-those habits, relationships, or thoughts that choke out what you truly wish to cultivate?

Perhaps there are flowers of joy that need tending, or perhaps you're ready to plant seeds of a new practice, relationship, or creative pursuit. What medicine are you growing in your personal garden? What remedies might you cultivate to heal old wounds or strengthen your spirit?

Unknown

And so, dear friends, I invite you to join me in this moon's reflection. In the soft glow of the Herb Moon, let us examine our inner gardens together, tending to what needs nurturing and harvesting what has ripened within us.
