Hello wild ones,
Happy Samhain!
On this night, the Cailleach bangs her blackthorn staff upon the earth, and announces the end of summer, the end of the year. She points us to the earth, so we can descend like a seed into the black, back to where we came from, back to what we are made of, so we can listen to the wisdom held there.
We are being called to descend into our inner worlds, into the darkness of our soil. When we look into the land, into the essence of the wild at this time, all are taking notice of this invitation.
Summer has ended, a year has gone by. And now it is time to both die and become, to let go of upward and outward and to shed and decay all that hinders our finding, knowing and embodying the seeds that lie within.
