Hello there
It was gorgeous to have such lovely folk gather last night for our new moon seasonal exploration.
The audio recording of last nights zoom gathering is at the bottom of this post for those of you who missed it. If you would prefer the audio and visual recording in future let me know and I can do that going forward.
Here are the two poems which I shared and promised to send over to you all.
Blessings for your senses
May your body be blessed.
May you realise that your body is a faithful
and beautiful friend of your soul.
And may you be peaceful and joyful
and recognise that your senses
are sacred thresholds.
May you realise that holiness is
mindful, gazing, feeling, hearing, and touching.
May your senses gather you and bring you home.
May your senses always enable you to
celebrate the universe and the mystery
and possibilities in your presence here.
May the Eros of the Earth bless you.-John O’Donohue
And this beautiful one also by John O’Donohue
Beannacht
On the day when
the weight deadens
on your shoulders
and you stumble,
may the clay dance
to balance you.And when your eyes
freeze behind
the grey window
and the ghost of loss
gets into you,
may a flock of colours,
indigo, red, green
and azure blue,
come to awaken in you
a meadow of delight. When the canvas frays
in the currach of thought
and a stain of ocean
blackens beneath you,
may there come across the waters
a path of yellow moonlight
to bring you safely home.May the nourishment of the earth be yours,
may the clarity of light be yours,
may the fluency of the ocean be yours,
may the protection of the ancestors be yours. And so may a slow
wind work these words
of love around you,
an invisible cloak
to mind your life.-John O’Donohue
Again, thank you for coming and for being here, last night felt warm, cosy and connective, and for those who didn’t come, I hope you enjoy the recording, do let me know if there is problem with it, and maybe see you next time.
Much warmth and wild stirrings
