You can search throughout the entire universe for someone who is more deserving of your love and affection than you are yourself, and that person is not to be found anywhere. You yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe deserve your love and affection. - Buddha
Hello lovelies and welcome to this moons journaling practise.
This beautiful April Full Moon is known in Europe as the budding moon and the moon that brings the birth of spring: The Anglo-Saxons called it Egg Moon, the Celts had names like Budding Moon, New Shoots Moon and Growing Moon. A Neo-Pagan name is Awakening Moon due to the land awakening and unfurling, as well as our own life force.
It is also the Pink Moon, from the pink phlox wildflowers that bloom in North America in the early spring. The Native American names referred to the spring thaws and the return of growth, including Breaking Ice Moon and The Moon of the Red Grass Appearing.
For this journaling practise, we are going to explore in a little way, the theme of Last Sundays letter where I wrote a little about self love and our innate sense of love we have for ourselves and how it can support us to grow well.

Free Writing -
Start the process of journaling with free writing. If you are unsure what that means follow this link and read the description. Give yourself about 20 minutes if you can but you can do a longer or shorter stretch depending on your own needs.
Prompts -
I often give timings for these, but I feel you should use the timing that suits you the most, for you know how much time you have available to you. Each prompt could be anything from 1 minute to 15 minutes. You don’t need to do all the prompts, just see which ones appeal to you.
When using these prompts, don’t hinder yourself with ideas of grand poetry, prose or wise words, but instead just let yourself start writing and just see what comes without stopping yourself, without judgement or criticism, but instead a healthy curiosity for the process. Letting yourself honestly explore and the feeling world within…………
