Creativity circle poem

Our first creativity circle has just ended and I felt it to be both supportive and restorative.

Thank you to those who came, it was such a lovely group.

I shared a poem in the circle, along with a quote which I said I would send out so people could have it, so here it is….

I am forever trying to shift my creative

life from a mindset of work to

a mindset of play.

Both work and play take effort.

Both work and play require time and space

The difference is that my idea of work

is haunted by a fear of imperfection,

while play feels hard to get wrong.
